They did offer us a credit for the inconvenience, but things took a turn for the worse when I called to redeem it. The owner's sister was quite confrontational right from the start. When we arrived, her rudeness escalated into an argument, and instead of providing our food, she chose to issue a refund. I've been visiting this restaurant for years, and the menudo never fails to impress me. This is the only place we've tried in the Antelope Valley, having sampled four other locations in Lancaster and Palmdale, and they not only nail it but also exceed expectations for homemade menudo! If you haven't tried menudo yet, don't bother with other places; they make an effort, but nothing compares to this. Absolutely excellent, excellent, excellent!!!!! Service: Takeout.
First of all, the price on the receipt doesn 't match the receipt. Second, their sizes to justify the cost of the burrito are just bad. Charging for a large burrito, when the burrito is regular at best. Next, why ask if onions and cilantro are okay, if when I say no you are still going to add it to my food. Finally, my food was cold and pastor tasted like it was old and dry. Overall, Super unhappy with our expensive burritos.

$15 for nachos!? What a rip-off! The restaurants in Rosamond have seriously lost their minds with these outrageous prices. Places like Patty's, Tom's, and Ramon's have become way too expensive for what they offer. I could understand these prices at a more upscale restaurant, but not from small, casual spots charging nearly $3 for a single taco!
This place is great! I was in town for a funeral, and my son's friend recommended that we try this restaurant. After such a somber event, the food really lifted our spirits and brought back smiles. The menudo was fantastic, and the shrimp tacos were the best we've ever had. Thank you so much, Pee Wee! We'll definitely be back!
We stopped here with the family on our way home from a camping trip; everyone was craving Mexican food. We discovered this gem on the map, and it did not disappoint! The food was excellent, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We would definitely love to visit again soon.
The Don Poncho burrito is incredible! It's packed with flavor and simply delicious overall. I'm rating it 4 out of 5 because the meat was a bit dry, and I think it would have been too dry without some moisture added. Nevertheless, I will definitely be returning!
