a group of us traveled towards sintra and alcobaça and there was a scheduled stop for the driver to rest. this is a well-known lunch place on the tour group' route, but don't leave this restaurant in...all it is located in an attractive, traditional, pink country house (although in a city) surrounded by large and beautiful gardens. when we arrived, we were offered a welcome glass of cooled champagne. the dona isilda offers a rich and affordable lunch buffet every day beside the Tuesdays.
