Ordered two filet steaks, both medium rare both with the potatoes and an appetizer of onion rings. The onion rings were quite good, though at $42.00 per steak it was a great disappointment. I came here to celebrate my collage graduation and my partners steak was over cooked but bearable. My however was first very chewy and too raw. I made my feelings know and so they took the steak back to the kitchen and cooked it further. It had a burnt chemical tasting crust when it came back and was dry. The flavor was truly awful. Thankfully they refunded the one steak but again at it’s cost and the food I received, it was a let down and I would be hard pressed to recommend again.
Thank you, Don's Seafood of Hammond, LA, for the wonderful reminder of the food we miss most, now that we live in Texas. It was a great dinner, just passing through on vacation! Perfectly fried catfish, delish red beans, plump and poppin Cajun shrimp! We loved the Grilled Shrimp Tacos and the Crawfish Quesadillas! YUM!!!
The service was great. The food came right on time. The restaurant wasn’t crowded. Our server was very friendly. The food was so fresh and delicious. We also ordered food to go. The prices were affordable.
The food looked and smelled wonderful and after praying, I forgot to take a picture.
