While visiting a friend who lives in Port Hope, a trip to Doo Doo's was planned. We placed an order in advance as apparently product sells out rapidly. The buttertarts were delicious. The crust was flakey and tasty, and the filling was thick and in...the case of the raisin variety (my favorite) loaded with plump juicy raisins. We also bought some of their tasty sausage rolls. There are so many other varieties of baked goods that another visit is in order...soon!
Butter tarts, butter tarts, butter tarts! OH they other great food as well. Sandwiches are all on fresh bread sliced thick and all the ingredients are fresh and flavorful!
I've tried buttertarts all over Ontario but nobody comes close to the ones offered up at Doo Doo's! The whiskey buttertarts can't be beat and are worth the extra cost!
this wonderful place has the BEST butter darts of all time! award winner from good reason! love her bake is to die for-so flaky!
