We really enjoyed our lunch at the Dorbia and we recommend it for couples and families alike. Here’s why… The restaurant sits on Moosalp, high above the valley road between Visp and Zermatt. The drive is spectacular, albeit demanding for the driver. There’s plenty of parking here because this is the plateau area. The car park was busy when we arrived, but it was a Sunday in July and that’s a popular time for Swiss families who work during the week. Midweek would be much quieter. There’s a small charge for parking in the public car park, just a few Swiss Francs. We had to park off road in the grass, as there were no spare spaces, so I think that’s free! In very popular Moosalp, it’s less busy than the nearby restaurant but still gets full quick. Typical mountain food, not particularly fancy but more enough to satisfy after a walk, a mountain bike ride or a sky session in the nearby slopes.
Always fine. It's best to sit outside, even in winter. Otherwise your clothes will smell like frying oil afterwards. That's why there's a star deduction, otherwise it would be 5/5. Update: no improvement so far
