we were in the old village cup before the owner changed, zig times and always satisfied - rustic and tasty.The new concept simply does not fit - the ambiente is still rustic, at the same time a cool, uncomfortable atmosphere is created by the new wall-colored and lighting. the dishes are completely overpriced, sometimes taste not at all (original wiener schnitezl and nudeln were inconvenient) and even for the ketchup 1 euro is required if you order pommes - unharmed and gicid.The steaks cost with supplements around the 40 euro - taste good, but there are now many more beautiful steakrestaurants in nutl village. does not fit everything together, which is why the last one was actually visiting...
after the new opening we were there for the first time again - which a disappointment! overwhelmed, little charming service. eat qualitatiw dürftig and clearly priced - just düsseldorf! we had a mushroom soup tasted only after salt, royber klopse with potato puree from the bag - supposedly fresh made, lt. request - never! and the metzgerbratwurst, which looked like it was warmed up several times. a fillet for 32,50 we have dispensed with - not in the atmosphere!
the village pot is a traditional and at the same time hip restaurant with unusual yet good bourgeois cuisine. the white carving was amazingly good and the appetizer (tatar vom rind) also grandios. the ambiente is beautiful and a good mix of cozy furnishings and modern elements. the personal was great: very attentive and extremely friendly.Remember me to test the large beer garden with good weather :-)
