My wife and I had a wonderful dinner in Dorfschenke to catch our three weeks in Germany. It was such a breath in fresh air after the tourist places in Munich. The venison goulash of my wife (Hirschgulase) was fantastic and my beef steak with pepper sauce was grilled just as I wished. Our Airbnb had also recommended the Munich Schnitzel. We were the only non-local in the restaurant, which was perfect. Make sure that the kitchen closes at 2100 (at least one weekday in October) so that your reservation is appropriate if you wish dessert afterwards.
