Dorothy Ann has done it again—wonderfully! We had such a fantastic experience ordering wedding sheet cakes from Dorothy Ann’s for my daughter’s wedding in Lake Elmo over three years ago that we decided to do it once more for my son’s wedding last weekend. This time, the reception was held in West Maple Grove, but Dorothy Ann delivered the sheet cakes right to the venue across town. We chose two flavors: almond with raspberry filling and chocolate with cream filling. Both were enormous hits with our guests (once again), and we can't recommend this bakery and its attentive staff highly enough. If you're looking for a cake that will impress your wedding guests, choose Dorothy Ann's!
This bakery is great, they even celebrate holidays like Mardi Gras. It's the top spot in the Twin Cities for King Cakes, although not quite as good as those in New Orleans. They have a wide variety of fillings to choose from. In addition to King Cakes, they also offer Paczki (Polish filled donuts) on Fridays and Saturdays. Their cupcake selection is top-notch, and they have some gluten-free options as well. Overall, this bakery is much better than your average grocery store. They also offer online ordering for convenience.
This is a Woodbury staple!! They have everything from donuts to cupcakes and even have decorating classes for anyone! They are super friendly and make the perfect pastries for your party, we've ordered from here many times. Not sure if they still do it post Covid but they have brunch on weekend mornings, very good! Parking is just big enough not to have to look for a spot but can get busy around the holidays. 10/10
The team at Dorothy Ann Bakery is outstanding. We found ourselves in a difficult situation and needed a cake for our son's First Communion on the same day. Steve and his team came through for us, and within just 15 minutes, they had decorated the cake so beautifully that I was truly amazed. Thank you, Dorothy Ann team, for saving the day! The exceptional service and quality make this the only bakery worth visiting!

Located behind Super Target, this restaurant in Woodbury is a hidden gem. The pastries are delicious and the atmosphere is comfortable. I need to make a point to visit more frequently. Despite being in the area often, I sometimes forget about this spot. I am grateful that it's in Woodbury and I hope it remains open for a long time.
We ordered our wedding cake from Dorothy Ann, and it was by far the best cake we’ve ever had! They were incredibly easy to work with and the people who run the place are really nice. I would highly recommend it to everyone!
I had Dorothy Ann's do a cake for my daughter's baby shower. I took in one of the invitations and they did an amazing job! Everyone loved the cake design and it was delicious! Thank you to the bakers and decorators!
