It took a few minutes for our server to approach us. Since I have a gluten allergy, I was pleased to see some gluten-free options on the menu. However, when I tried to ask the server for more details, she interrupted me and claimed that everything was gluten-free. When I inquired whether they had a separate preparation area or used different utensils, she replied no, explaining that everything was made in the same space.
The menu uses a circular symbol with "GF" in the center, which is a misleading imitation of a certified gluten-free symbol. As a result, their gluten-free items seem less safe than those offered at restaurants with genuine gluten-friendly protocols.

I picked this restaurant because of it's convenient location to meet. My friend and I shared a starter and had iced tea and pink lemonade. The food was not impressive, though I am bearing in mind that I had only an appetizer. We had the spinach cheese dip with tortilla chips. The dip tasted like it had come out of a can...tasting very much like cream of chicken soup. I was not a fan. Chips and drinks were fine. Wait staff were attentive. It was a nice place to meet and socialize in the afternoon even though it had a distictively dingy feel. I will not likely visit again.
Doubleday's is a tasty spot with a couple locations near Dayton! They have a large menu selection and a very clean restaurant. I got their scrumptious French onion soup, which is one of the best I've had. It is hearty with broth, onions, bread, and a thick layer of cheese on top. I had already mixed it in when I took the picture. The buffalo chicken ranch wrap was very flavorful. The only thing that could've made it better, in my opinion,.is if the tortilla had been toasted, but it was still soft and cold. Onion rings are very good. I would happily order all this again.
Been here multiple times, and every time it's delicious!The Kobe beef burger is great. The fried fish is also delicious. I've also had one of their many pizzas, and again delicious.They have a very wide range of choices, and they all seem to be great (based on my experience so far).I gave 4 stars because their sides are a little underwhelming (but all the entrées so far are great).

This place was okay. Chicken Gyro was average. It took 30 minutes longer than the rest of the food at our table. Mashed potatoes and gravy were nasty. Food is not as good as it used to be. New location is nice but was not nearly as crowded as the old one.
First time eating here and it was great. Fish sandwich was hot and tasty with a perfect crispy batter. Chicken pasta soup was creamy with great flavors. Chili was very beefy with few beans and only mildly spicy. Looking forward to coming back soon.
Nice environment, friendly staff, everything we ordered taste delicious…. Only giving 4 because my loaded wedges were good but I have had better (just my opinion)…. Food came to the table in a timely manner, will definitely return
Exceptional service and delectable food! They offer daily lunch specials that never disappoint. Their pizzas are truly fantastic! The portion sizes are quite generous, so be prepared to take some leftovers home!

We enjoy going to Doubleday's. Today she had the tenderloin sandwich and I had the Ruben. We had the fried pickles as an appetizer. It was all good. We will be back there for sure.
The curbside service was excellent, and the food was really delicious as well.
