it is a fairly standard pig with standard pig fees. If you're looking for a chic lunch, it's not a gastro-pub. I had a steak with fries, greens and pfeffersoße for almost $13 last week. steak was hard like old boots, pommes were decent, pfeffersoße was excellent (very pfeffery leafy greens were exactly what it was on the dose some greens with a little dressing for a no frills weekday lunch it is not bad, but I still prefer the shake on the road.
this bar has a great atmosphere and location. there are wooden and chairs, with various mounted heads on the walls. the lights are also interesting and warm dimmed. a great place to eat with a meal and drink I had the chicken carving here twice and it was perfect. the salat and the chips he came with were also great. my companions ordered burgers and were also satisfied. the Trivia Night was also relaxed and lively.
classic, old-fashioned pub with a large menu of all traditional favorites. from steak to schnitzel, burger much nibbles to share, there is something to please everyone in large groups or small. the carving was nice, fish had a nice crispy coating, steak was over. chips are dusted with chicken salt which is addicted. a huge list of beer staff are friendly and service fast.
Our gang from school usually meets at the Shakespeare but to try something different, we went to Dove and Olive. I like the name, which reminds me of all those pubs in London with the same theme: Slug and Lettuce, Hare and Cabbage, Pig and Leek. OK. I am making up some of these but the combinations seemed endless.
