"How on earth can they charge nearly £10 for a small bag of tatties. Took me half an hour to wash the earth of them. Earth that I am paying for by weight. Absolutely disgraceful pricing."

On the 16th of April, we visited a restaurant in Ayr that had previously been excellent before the COVID-19 pandemic. The dining experience, table service, and staff were all top-notch. However, our experience on Saturday was a disaster. We sat at our table for over 5 minutes before realizing it was self-service, as there was no clear indication when we entered. We had to order soup, sandwiches, or baked potatoes at the counter and pay for our coffee at a machine by the counter. The sandwich I ordered was stale, and my aunt's soup was cold, so we had to return it. The lack of hand sanitizers was concerning, and the condition of the restroom, especially the disabled stall, was disappointing....

We had lunch here and it was very tasty and good value for money. The food was very good and the staff were lovely. Not only that, but I left my bag and cardigan at the table and didn’t realise till we’d driven a couple...of miles. Just as we looking for a place to turn, my phone rang. It was one of my work colleagues who had just had a phone call to say they’d found my bag. They’d looked in to find my business card and made the call. When I got back, they even apologised for going through my bag but wanted to try to contact me. A big thank you to you all x

This used to be a lovely tea room, but I can see that due to COVID and the past two years, they have changed their business model. It is now a self-service setup. However, I wish they would improve on their tea selection. They use the proper tea leaves and don't offer the cheaper paper alternatives. The cleanliness is satisfactory. They should relocate the coffee machine from the narrow entrance/exit to reduce chaos. The organization is poor. I won't be returning.

This was our first visit here at the pumpkin patch, it was well laid out and plenty of entertainment for the wee ones, quizzes, games, magician, play area, etc. Its great fun picking your own pumpkin but we found it a bit sneaky that prices...were not more prominently displayed until the very last minute. The pumpkins were seriously overpriced and only priced by judgement not weight? It was fun but dont expect it to be cheap! Book a table now

The service at this restaurant is quick and convenient, perfect for travelers. Guests can enjoy self-service seating in a gorgeous dining area overlooking the sea. The shop has a wide variety of gifts to choose from and is well-stocked. The staff is friendly, helpful, and runs the restaurant efficiently. I will definitely be visiting again.

great lunch here on the other day and also a few days before breakfast. worth visiting if in the opposite or stop when they pass the A77. I also bought a steak pipe from which I was recommended. by a friend who buys them regularly. the Steak Pie was great and I will also be a regular buyer of these from here. keep the great work.

As the title says, we visited 10 years ago and it was one of the places that we sought out when we visited again this year. What a disappointment, the food on offer was very limited to soup and a sandwich. I appreciate C19 restrictions...are still in play, but extra effort is needed as there is such a market for them to dip into.

Tatties? TATTIES?. Oh my god these taste a m a z I n g !! Called in today, and had them for dinner tonight, better than Royals from Jersey.. and they are darn good I can vouch for that, Cornish earlies and definitely any of...the Middle East tasteless versions. Highly recommended Book a table now

Lovely little shop and cafe just past Turnberry. The shop has some lovely produce but quite expensive. Cafe was closed when passing and shop seemed to close about 4pm. I am sure as restrictions lift it will offer more.
