This place is your typical Chinese takeaway you get inside a shopping centre, so the food is pre cooked Bain Marie style so enough said there. But, the soups are freshly cooked and I reckon they are the best I've had on the coast... You pick your ingredients from a cabinet, choose from meat, seafood and vegetables, I think 5 choices of fresh noodles and wontons, the wonton soup is a massive meal and it costs $9.90 excellent value, the most I've paid for extras is $2 - $3, so the most I've for my own combinations of meat and seafood was $12.90. If you like Chinese noodle soups, you really should try one from here. The chicken broth is always consistent and excellent! ( I've had about 20 soups...
I had a busy day at work last Monday, but then got sick with the flu. All I could stomach was hot soup until last night. Thankfully, my partner knows where to find delicious meals. He quickly went to Dragon Boat and picked up some fish ball soup with cabbage, bamboo shoot, shallots and rice, as well as a sweet chicken and corn soup. He also got some food for himself - I think it was vegetables and braised chicken. He's a regular at the restaurant, so they know his preferences. Throughout the week, I've had multiple servings of the fish ball soup. Now that he's sick with the flu, he's been enjoying the chicken, rice and vegetable soup. When looking for a quick meal to bring home, D often opts for the soup from this restaurant. He especially enjoys the flavorful broth and likes to customize it by adding vegetables, chicken, fish balls, or noodles. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and even remembers your previous orders. I personally recommend trying their Chinese vegetarian omelette with a side of rice.
嚟到cairns冇乜好食，日本拉麵唔似日本拉麵，仲要每日大排長龍。另外越南粉唔似越南粉，四川菜唔似四川菜。只有一間叫dundee's嘅澳洲海鮮餐廳唔錯，蘑菇湯，炸魚薯條，蒜蓉青口，生蠔都幾好。 最後還是去金舫食廣東菜，較正常，起碼在預料之內，尤其是海魚算是食得過，除了魚是游水的外，䒱也是蒸得剛剛好。 住五天，光顧了三晩，除了蒸魚外，還試了羊腩煲，蝦膠炒介蘭花，雪菜火鴨炆米，蒜蓉介蘭花，豆腐火腩煲，仲有老闆送的蝦片，水平都唔錯。
