Ordered beef and mushroom curry without paes and onions. Got beef and mushrooms in gravy with Mange Tout. Ordered Special fried rice. Got special chow mein so 2 dish's completely wrong. They were nice but definitely not what we requested. I could not have been clearer with these as I even asked if they do special fried rice and explained that I did not want peas or onions Quite expensive for a takeaway so not impressed at all
Been coming to New Quay for a few years. Have always said we should try the Chinese take away. All I can say is 1st and last time. The worst take away food we have ever had. Absolute garbage. Two mouthfulls and the rest went in the bin. Avoid like the plague. How they can actually charge money for the food they have served to us tonight is beyond belief. If we could give zero stars we would.
I spent £25 on a few dishes and some rice at this restaurant, and it was a complete waste of money. The food appeared to have been pre-packaged and frozen before being thawed out when ordered. The quality of the mushrooms and beef was subpar, resembling items that should be displayed on Antiques Roadshow. I would advise against spending your money here.
The service from the waitress was clueless, unfriendly, and did not listen. The food was incorrect and disgusting. It is a shame that this is the only Chinese restaurant around, as they definitely need to improve their cooking skills. I am extremely disappointed and would not give any stars for this experience. Takeaway for 4 rainy Saturday evening. They seemed very busy which is good. The waiting area is a bit dated, but really that is irrelevant. The food we ordered was very acceptable. I was apprehensive after reading poor reviews. They were friendly, and I wouldn't hesitate to return.
Wish I never bothered spent over£40 for a pile of **** absolutely shocking tried calling to complain and no answer rather eat dinner out of a bin
We ordered a mixed veg curry and a chicken curry plus rice, the veg curry was nice but the chicken curry was way too salty and didn't enjoy.
We've been going here for our take away for many years and the quality of the food is always good. Love the sweet and sour Hong Kong style! Book a table now
The food was terrible! It had no flavor and was very bland. We definitely will not be coming back. The curry was especially bad.
