We took an hour drive to go to this restaurant, the food was awesome. We both had blackened salmon with sautéed green beans, mashed potatoes, and Mac n cheese. What I noticed first was that the skin had been removed, I never eat that skin, I knew it was going to be good. This allowed the seasoning to get into the fish on both side, most places leave the skin on, and the fish would be lacking in flavor. But not at Drake's Place. This was the most flavorful salmon I've ever eaten. The green beans were good, but I would have enjoyed a little more crunch. I didn't get a picture of the desserts. This was my first time visiting the restaurant and I was very pleased with the food, service and the atmosphere. I had the blackened salmon which was cooked to perfection. I also had the mashed potatoes and they were delicious. My son ordered the catfish, fries and Mac cheese. He loved his food also. I tasted his catfish and it was pretty tasty. I would definitely recommend this place. The owner was also very nice and I wish them much success!
Drake's is a quaint little place that was my 1st time visiting and I was so looking forward to the pasta dish I'd ordered but when I received it I found it was too salty for my taste. I'm trying to keep my sodium intake down, otherwise it was good. They didn't have the carmel cake and I had my mouth set on a piece. The sweet tea was very good and the owner was very nice.
I had dinner at this restaurant while staying overnight, and it was fantastic! We were looking for a local spot, and we couldn't have made a better choice. The BBQ sauce was amazing! My kids absolutely loved the mac and cheese. My husband ordered the ribs, and I went for the chicken strips. Everything was delicious. If I'm ever in town again, I will definitely return!

My visits to Drake's Place every time I go is like perfection x2. The food is delicious with a great atmospher down to earth wonderful great people that you can talk to that making sure all providing every need. You don't have to want for anything cause someone's always there to serve you with a smile. Love it?
Got an to go Cesar salad large portion and chicken Alfredo large portion also. The Cesar salad was ok taste very sour for some reason..very blend chicken Alfredo was just ok also..wish it had more flavor but nothing special at all.
This was our first visit, and I'm looking forward to trying the rest of the menu. The salmon, grilled or blackened, SUPERB! Nice atmosphere, good music, great service...10/10
Truly enjoyed my time here Khalid and Kierra were very friendly servers and restaurant made you feel like you were sitting in Grandma's kitchen.

I do a carry-out order for 2 usually on Friday nights the shrimps baked potato house salad is done within 15 minutes
We were greeted by a friendly staff and the food was wonderful, and served timely. This is a great restaurant.
