Living in the Montreux area I decided to visit this restaurant. The decorations and furniture are tasteless and the ambience is poor. Nevertheless, we were excited to try the local Filets de perche meunière. Unfortunately it was a disappointment, the tartar sauce was worse then out of a tube from the shop and the fish also was nothing special. Moreover, we ordered ketchup for our fries, however, to our great surprise when the bill arrived we noticed that we were charged 2CHF for 3 tablespoons of ketchup. In the end we paid 96CHF for 2 Filets de perche and 2 bottles of water. You can enjoy much better service, food and ambience for the same or cheaper price at the Montreux Palace Cafe, a 5* r...

Snow and road conditions changed our planned journey and we were looking for a place to eat late on a mid-week-day. Even though we were the only customers due to the weather, we were made to feel welcome. Soup (excellent and salad as starters followed by ‘filet de perches’ with very varied choice of accompaniments (pasta, steamed potatoes, chips, rice, veg… and 3dl of house (open rosé was just what we needed. The thing I liked was the reduced portion option (Petites gourmandises it is a great idea. That late at night I was not in the mood for a huge plate, more restaurants should have this option. I enjoyed a warm welcome and a delicious lunch twice this week while I cleaned my old apartment before my move back to UK. If I were staying longer, I’d definitely become a regular. If you like Lebanese food, it’s definitely worth a visit.

The restaurant is located a little off, but can be reached within a 15 mins drive from Montreux. The staff is really very friendly and helpful, the food was delicious always listen to the recommendations ; Prices are reasonable!
