As we approached the bakery, I spotted the pop tarts and chocolate croissants through the window. Upon entering, we were greeted by an employee at the register. I inquired about the pop tart flavors while taking in all the unique offerings. It felt a bit like those coffee shops where they expect you to know your order right away—akin to Starbucks, where you're expected to be ready to go without hesitation—even though we were the only customers in the bakery at that moment.
I quickly glanced at the display case and chose an almond plum pop tart along with a chocolate croissant. My husband decided on the caramel pecan blondie. He tried to make a light-hearted joke with the staff, but it fell...
A few years ago, my husband and I happened to drop by while wandering around town. It was our first time there, but certainly not our last. On our later visits, we tried to hold back from returning, but it was impossible to resist their incredible cookies. The peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies are simply amazing! We've also sampled their croissants, breads, and pastries, and they never let us down. This charming little spot has become one of our favorite discoveries.
The croissant was quite unremarkable; it seemed either to have an egg wash on top or to be slightly burnt. It wasn't as soft and pull-apart as I expected, though it still had some flakiness. However, the pecan maple croissant was quite enjoyable, and the gruyere and onion danish was also very nice. The baguette had the right amount of holes, but it was a bit too dense and the bottom was chewy enough to give my jaw a workout.
I've visited Dulce twice during my trips over the bridge from Philadelphia. Each time, I've found the staff to be friendly and welcoming, and their selection to be quite good for the time of day (after 12:00). I definitely recommend it. The location is also convenient, and with plenty of parking available in the back, there’s really nothing to complain about!

I went to Dulce for the first time yesterday and everything was fantastic! They have very unique and beautifully decorated desserts. I tried their brown butter panna cotta and a chocolate croissant, both were amazing... you must try their croissants! If you love chocolate, you need to try the chocolate one.
I love croissants and there really just aren't a lot of places to get a good one around here. Dulce is the only place I can think of. Butter, chocolate..one time i came in and they had a peaches and cream croissant, it was delicious. Their bread is great too, and they have coffee.
I ordered a variety of croissants and couldn't resist trying the vanilla pear croissant. Wow, it was absolutely stunning! It had perfect layering and the combination of the not-too-sweet pear with just the right amount of vanilla custard was fantastic. Truly amazing!
This is a wonderful restaurant with an impressive menu. The espresso shots are fantastic, and the iced coffee really hit the spot. The croissants are equally delightful. The location is perfect, situated along a lovely street.

By far one of the top three pastry shops in the tri-state area. The smell and taste and quality of all ingredients are amazing. It is worth a trip to enjoy any dessert.
Truly on level with French pastries. I used to drive 6 hours to Montreal for good parties... Now i can drive here 30 minutes away for the same quality!
