I went to Dumbo for lunch yesterday with my dog Jeff As I drove near Dumbo looking for a car park, sitting in the driveway/overpass of the house next door to Dumbo was approximately 6 people sitting on the ground smoking cigarettes. They had what I would describe as a dirty, grungy kind of look. It looked weird. I found a car park then sat out the front with Jeff. I popped my head in and asked if it was full table service out the front. I was told it was so I went back out and it wasn't long before a waiter arrived with a bottle of water and the menu. Located deep in the residential streets of West Footscray, Dumbo has made itself a name and such a high reputation that has now become a foodie destination.Beautiful interior decor will welcome you as well as plenty of smiles and helpful staff members. It is small, but yet so cozy that you will feel at home I ordered their Couscous Pearl Salad after being recommended by the waiter. Visited 'Dumbo' for brunch today and my two son's and I loved it. Everything we ordered was top notch! We started with coffee which was great. We then ordered Matcha waffles, Potato fritters and Quinoa Salad. The waffles and salad were generous in size, however the fritters ( poached egg) was on the small side. We decided to share a 'dessert' and ordered a serve of 'Banoffee donuts' to have with a hot chocolate. DELICIOUS!! Fantastic find. Love that we don't need to go across town for great food options and venue. Will be back!
Went here for breakfast. Had the Truffled mushrooms, wasn't the best choice I could have made. lacked something. Ordered a side of avocado with lime and salt. $4.50 - and all it appeared to be was 1/4 of an avo placed on the plate. thats $18 for an avo...bit pricey. My dining partners ordered better than me, waffles and eggs on sourdough which they both loved. Think maybe it is a bit pricey especially for the extras.

Just dropped in for a coffee with my boyfriend this afternoon. Wonderful atmosphere - very light and airy. Coffee was smashing! Loved it. The boys working on the floor and behind the counter were lovely. Will definitely be back when we have a bit more time to sample the delicious looking menu! Thanks DUMBO!
The food, coffee, service and location ticks all the boxes. My only critisciscm is that it's quite small. But what it makes up for in size certainly makes up for the quality of their food. It's the best cafe I've been to around the Footscray and Seddon areas.
Great breakfast option with ample parking. We sat at the communal indoor table and although a bit squishy it was well worth it. Coffee came out quickly and the breakfast was delicious. This will be my regular breakfast venue
A cute little suburban cafe; i have been here many many times since first discovering it in late 2016. What has kept me returning is their consistency - great service, friendly staff and a delicious menu. Coffee is excellent
