This place is part of the food court but has its own small seating section. Well I don't expect much from foodcourt eateries. However if you are going to have your own seating area then at least service it. By this I mean the minimum which is to keep it clean - tables wiped down occasionally or rubbish and used dishes removed. I came here with family and we happened to score (I use the term score loosely) a table with a pot full of chilli and oil and many used dishes and oil all over the table. No exaggeration, it was so grubby. What can I say, we were desperate amidst the lunch time rush hour! Had meals in this place over the years. Sometimes having the express lunch/dinner noodle/rice combo and other times having the cook to order menu such as the century egg pork congee.Staffs are friendly overall in this place. Food overall tastes fine with various menu. This review is based mainly on the congee that I had a few times. The congee comes in a reasonable big portion with adequate contents. The only let down is the high amount of MSG which makes you feel very thirsty after having it. Price is at $8.50 each.After my last experience with the congee. At Chadstone Shopping Centre first time in years looking around as it is lunch time looked around the food court came across Dumplings Plus I asked for a large plate and split the Duck and Pork Belly with the fried Pork noodles the happy friendly staff member filled my plate also received 2 side sauces for 12.80 this was a big feed a great value for money the duck was great and the Pork was moist and crackle was cooked to perfection Pork noodles were nice as well had a few noodles to pick from This is good food and good value friendly staff as well worth the stop
We were shopping in Chadstone when we decided to grab a quick bite at the food court and found this store. Unfortunately, this was a decision we came to regret as the dumplings, despite their claims that it's made fresh, were cold, stale and tasteless. It is easily one of the worst dumplings we've had, and we had a few across Australia, China and Hong Kong.Definitely one to avoid.

And that is food court food in a food court. I selected noodle soup with veg and prawn dumplings. I tossed in chilli from the selection of embellishments and was pretty much in heaven. Generous, tasty, fresh and fine. Recommend.
Early on a Saturday morning the dumplings were cold and stodgy and we were unable to buy a single veggie dumpling to even the amount to share. They would not do it. Very unfriendly and food was average at best.
I came to this place specifically because of Irene C.'s glowing review, and I do have to say I'm quite impressed.
