We had recently eaten an Afternoon Tea that was very disappointing to the point of abjectly poor; this was the most perfect riposte. There was a top tier of flavoursome, warm treats [i.e. Haggis Bon Bon, quiche, sausage roll and vol au vent followed by an abundance of freshly prepared sandwiches with such variety and no disappointments and a particular mention for the Coronation Chicken and Egg Mayo in the egg wash finished roll. Good and plentiful Tea and Coffee and then we come to the sweeter side of things as it happens they are mostly still in the takeaway box provided BUT the meringues were light and delicious while the Chocolate Sponge was Fantabadozie and strawberry cheesecake overcam...
Fabulous facilities at Dunes Golf Centre. Great cafe and a nice wee mini 9 hole to practice on TopTracer is a great tool on the driving range with friendly staff available to show you how to use it. I’m on the ladies love.golf lessons and they are great fun. Lessons are relaxed with lots of laughs with likeminded ladies. I had never swung a golf club in my life and have just played at my first scramble event organised by Peter at Dunes. It was such a great event I’ll be booking on the next one. I would highly recommend coming along to give golf a go.
I have had a few afternoon teas here and this one was once again fabulous. It is the best afternoon tea that I have ever had. My two friends were delighted with the food. The service was excellent as was the the selection of savoury and sweet items . There was more than enough food and we each took home what we didn’t manage to eat. Thank you once again Dunes for a wonderful experience.
Had afternoon tea here with friends and it was superb. There was a beautifully presented selection of hot and cold savouries followed by scones and amazing, delicious cakes. Would certainly recommend the afternoon tea here.

I got a takeaway from here at lunchtime and it was so fine I had to write another review! I went for the cheese and haggis toastie and it was really fine. The price was reasonable and I would definitely come back again.
Very abrupt unfriendly waitresses. One even dropped hot food on a guest and hardly apologised. We all looked shocked!. Nice location and food was good. What a difference it would have made if the staff had been nice!

The best afternoon tea of the year. So much food, amazing cakes/deserts. Tea/coffee frequently topped up. Value for money. Beautiful location.
Lovely cafe with quality food friendly staff! Great walks on the beach nearby! Highly recommended!
