holiday in cairns of sa. dinner for 3 on 3 jan 22. service, ease and efficiency were excellent. very busy bistro for a Monday night. family friendly with video surveillance screen to glass included playroom for those with children. delicious vindaloo and butter huh was generous and very enjoyed. the 300gm porterhouse steak with Calamari cup was excellent! steak cooked perfectly, med/rare and the calamari was soft and tender and die for. also large garlic bread. a really tasty meal to reasonable praise. highly recommended. We ate here twice during our short stay in Cairns, partly because it was close to our accommodation, but also because it was great food and a reasonable price! My daughter loved the regular pizza, as much as I did the gluten-free pizza! Staff was friendly and helpful (and especially patient on our first visit, the day we arrived in Australia and were a bit jet-lagged).
Service is casual but friendly (Our meals were delivered with no knives on the table!). Food was quite a while coming out but was worth the wait. I had an Atherton Parma which was a superb variation on the traditional, and my wife had lamb shank, which she said was great. We'll definitely be eating here again.
This place was recommended to us, and we haven't stopped going there since!!! We are currently in Cairns on our honeymoon and this is one of the best places for a decent meal. The staff are excellent and polite and the atmosphere is relaxing. This has become my favourite dining spot for lunch and dinner Noel

We went here for a family dinner has a good kids area inside and out the service was spot on and the meals were absolutely beautiful couldn't fault anything here I would highly recommend you visit this place when in cairns you won't be disappointed
Had the signature steak which was good,Hubby had the pork belly salad which was yum.There is a playground for the kids outside.Bit of traffic noise being on a busy street,but tavern had good music pumping through the speakers.
We visited a couple of times during our recent stay in Cairns. The steak was perfectly cooked and plentiful. The service was good and the staff friendly and efficient.
Food was very good, steaks perfect, curries even better, we (family of 5) ate here 3 times out of our week stay in Cairns, that should say it all.
