I don 't know if they were just having an 'off ' kind of day, but I really don 't think there 's anything special about their pastries, they 're so dry and I was utterly unimpressed. I bought a strawberry madeleine because they had lots of flavors on display outside and it looked good, but as soon as I took one bite I gave up because it was sooo DRY. It was just bad. Then the employees talked me into buying their really big crispy escargot croissant-like thing and it was dry as well! I don't understand that this address probably has one of the best chocolate bread I've ever eaten, and yet I think it's very difficult. excellent tradition baguette. Very good sandwiches. really hard to understand some particularly acerbic opinions, totally immerit to me. I highly recommend.
I picked up some pastries including a fraisier since they’re my fave and seem more difficult to find at pastry shops throughout France. Staff was friendly. Almost returned the next day for pastry before departing the area since the staff member had a very nice smile when he was serving me.
