I ordered enough food for six people family-style, even though I only needed to serve four, and let me tell you, the portions were generous. My parents had enough left over for dinner on Monday. My dad, who is battling terminal cancer, really enjoyed the meal—it was one of the best he has had in a long time. Both he and my mom are already asking when I’ll be going back for more takeout.
The ham with peach sauce was fantastic, and the broccoli casserole was nearly as good as my own recipe. The mashed potatoes and green beans were also very good. My first visit was Easter Sunday , April 12th I placed my order via email on 4/11/19 got to the restaurant and the place was packed had to wait an hour for our order. HOWEVER, everyone serving and trying to get orders filled were all patient and working very hard to do all they could to get orders filled and out the door. They were not prepared for the response they received. BUT let me say the servings were plenty for six people I ordered for 4 family style. And Mom
I had the Dutch Broad Cafe cater a birthday party for my mother this past Saturday. This is my second time having them cater an event. Everything, once again, was spot on! Guests raved about their chicken salad and their bourbon peach meatballs! The sweet tea is very good as well—not sugary sweet, but just right. Will be using them again!
Employees are very friendly and courteous. Now on to the food, not so good! The last several times I've been I was not pleased at all with the items being served. Overcooked,even burnt at times..and maybe start wearing hair nets????????

The floors appeared dirty, and the restaurant could use some updates. The food was tasty, but it wasn't hot enough. However, the staff were friendly.
The restaurant never opens, so I’m puzzled as to how it can even be called a restaurant. Features: Great, but never available.
