This place is fantastic. With an eclectic colonial styling and great menu, this place is well worth going on a small safari out of the main Valley drag. First and foremost it specialises in gin. With a huge list of gins available and the staff very much in the know about what gin to pair with which botanicals and garnishes, even if you are not a gin drinker, you probably will be converted before you leave. We pass this restaurant quite often when leaving Fortitude Valley station and are very happy that we finally went in! The ground level bar is a relaxing place to unwind, with a huge list of cocktails (mostly gin based). The restaurant upstairs has a nice and relaxed tropical feel. The menu has a great range of choices and we went with the 5x chef's picks. The grilled chicken dish was an absolute knockout! We will definitely go here again.
My wife and I visited this small bar / restaurant after work on Friday night. With wonderful food, beautiful cocktails and great service this venue proved to be a hidden gem. We started with the duck, seared scallops, lamb tangible and passion fruit Creme brûlée. The food was ample, beautifully cooked and reasonably priced. This lovely little restaurant is quickly becoming one of our favourite go-to places.
We had a great time here sampling some really enjoyable dishes. It's a small bar and the restaurant serving share plates with a middle eastern flare. We ordered the deep fried duck, calamari, lamb ribs and chips. The lamb ribs and duck was the highlight of our experience. Service was excellent and attentive. They also have an expansive selection of gin so we will be coming back to try the drinks

I had a special birthday here and from first contact to the actual night Matthew was awesome, very professional and accomodating .We had the mezzanine level and everyone had a great night.The staff, food , music and venue were fantastic! Highly recommend having an event here. Will be back to try more things on the great menuThank you!!!
Delicious selection of exotic specialties. We loved every one of our 6 dishes, especially the slow cooked beef as it was extremely tender. The sauces were tasty without being overly spicy and even the root veges were mouth watering.
We were initially apprehensive as the downstairs bar was very lively & noisy. However, the food was excellent and we were served by a very personable waiter. We didn't try the cocktails but they were clearly popular.
Over 100 gins, knowledgeable staff and we chose to have 5 suggested dishes to share, every single one was exquisitely tasty. I only managed to try 2 gins as they are quite strong but I will be going back!

Great bar for a friends get together - nice ambience and a fab location - less shaved ice in my drink next time, otherwise a great bar in a brilliant location, quick walk to some great restaurants nearby
The food is a modern version of Morrocan food. Very nice but limited food and wine menu. Service is excellent and the cocktails are good.
