The Dux no longer opens for dinner but occasionally puts on a special theme night for which you must book. Latest one was an Italian themed dinner of 4 courses a shared antipasto platter, then spaghetti carbonara as a starter. For main course, a choice between osso bucco and a chicken pasta dish, and for dessert a choice between citrus tart and tiramisu. All for a fixed price of $70. pleaseant backgroiund music was playing, and servce was personal and friendly. This is a small restaurant only sat about 35 on the night we attended, with social distancing. An outfoor area can probably seat another 12 or 15 when weather allows. My family meets here a couple of times a year. Worth 2 hour round trip for. If I lived closer, I would be there all the time. The staff are so welcoming, it’s not just a job to them, it’s clearly their passion. Outstanding risotto, amazing citrus dessert, coffee, all 5 of us loved our meal. Nothing is ever a problem. Cosy, friendly atmosphere.
Dux is a favourite meeting place for South Perth people. They often say meet you at Dux. It 's at the corner of Coode St and South Terrace, right ion the border of South Perth and Como, easy to find... You can have a meal or have a coffee, both are popular. Parking is not usually a problem.
