Always a great experience at the Dux cafe whether it is dining in or takeaway. Coffee and food is great and always friendly service. I bought two takeaway coffees this morning and unfortunately I dropped them outside. The lovely lady who serviced me was so kind and offered to replace them even though I was feeling very embarrassed as it was definitely my fault). A definite recommend for anyone wanting an easy breaky or lunch. Love the Dux. Thank you
Delicious lunch, friendly staff and the food all came out at the same time. The food was a bit pricey but it matched the quality. The menu was concise but still had a lot of variety. I had the chicken scallopini, which was very tasty and cooked perfectly. Also the salad wasn't drenched in dressing like other fancy places, which is a welcome change. Highly recommend. It seems Dux have increased their prices by about 20% in the last 18 months. Food on the plate in some dishes seem smaller as well. My meal of zuchini and pumpkin fritters was tasty but a bit dry and poached egg was also dry. They happily provided a sauce when requested. Cafe was nearly empty for a Friday breakfast whereas it used to be quite full. Food: 4
Had a ham cheese tomato croissant and a large flat white take away yesterday. Food and coffee were nice. Service is always good. But when I got home, I found I was charged for $21.5. Shocked... I was on the phone, didn't pay much attention on the price. Not sure the food is meant to be that expensive or just a mistake by the staff... Service: Take out Book a table now
Comfortable seats and good food. Fish and chips, tasting platter, big brekky and chicken salad are the ones I've tried more than once. Nice choice of dessert too. Good coffee and chai latte. The only drawback was they don't serve big breakfast after 1130AM. So be early!
The new breakfast menu is great. We had their "take on baked beans". Sensational. The haloumi was grilled to perfection and crispy kale was very tasty and the perfect texture.
