Was going to a show at the nearby TECA and thought this would be the ideal place for a meal with my wife, our son and his girlfriend. Arrived about 6.15 and sat at a table before 6.30. Restaurant was busy I assumed with other people going to the show. Drink orders and food orders taken at the same time as I knew we needed to be reasonably quick. Drinks arrived quickly followed shortly afterwards by the customary poppadoms with sauces. Here ends the good part of the visit. Visiting Aberdeen and staying in Bucksburn, my wife and I found this Indian restaurant via TripAdvisor. The reviews were persuasive, so we went along on Saturday evening. First imressions as we drove into the carpark were not good; we were the only car there. However, it turns out that there was an international football match on, so their trade was almost totally takeaway whilst we were there (not something that interfered with our meal in any way). So for once, first impressions were wrong. Once inside, the service was friendly and prompt, always with a smile. The food was really, really good! Flavoursome, with good-sized portions to boot. My Achaari lamb was so tender a fork could cut it....
A beautiful and pleasant Indian restaurant. A large variety of dishes. We ate a variety of starters, all of them were delicious and special. The owner of the house is very friendly and willing to help in choosing the dishes and matching them to the meal
Fabulous food along with great, attentive service. Mannered staff with suggestions given too, which we were glad to take. Starters we had were prawn purée which were extremely fluffy purée along with sizeable prawns.

Came here on Wednesday around 18:00. The food was delicious I’d recommend the garlic chilli chicken tandoori. The service was excellent. The prices are very reasonable. I will definitely come back again soon.
Delicious food and knowledgeable staff. Very reasonably priced. Nice ambience with traditional Indian music in background. Branded glasses with cobra beer and real bottled juices.
First visit for a takeaway, and we were not disappointed. Very polite staff, super tasty food and quickly prepared ready for pick up. Thank you, it was delicious!
The owner can be honest and the food can be tasty. Thank you to the waiter who tried to do his best but unfortunately the owner doesn’t care.

We’ve been a few times with my son and his wife. Had loads of takeaways from them. Never ever disappoints. Stunning quality food.
