This place just replaced Ebi Sushi, and my family wanted to try it out for dinner, and were quite glad with our experience overall. The interior looks much brighter and nicely decorated, and the menu selection is pretty diverse. We ordered the salmon and tuna sashimi, which tasted fresh and was presented nicely on a bed of ice, and got the salmon oshi, which was comparable to other ones you could get at restaurants like green leaf, and by that, I mean that it tasted very good. The rainforest roll was one of the special rolls we wanted to try, and it was good, but nothing too special overall.<br/ <br/ I felt their mentaiko Yaki udon and the chicken Katsu were the stars of the meal tonight how...

Had to check this place out since it was in the neighbourhood. Kyuzo is a bit pricier than a lot of Japanese restaurants, but it really depends on what you order. If you get the right stuff, it's pretty worth it, imo! The salmon oshi sushi and parmesan beef rolls are both phenomenal, what they slightly lack in portions they more than make up for in flavour. The lamp chops and foie gras nigiri (OMG) were great too. The only thing slightly lacking was the ankimo. Not as flavorful as I've had in the past, would not order again. But otherwise I'd recommend it, will be back to try more.

The service was excellent, as they promptly replaced our dropped chopsticks without us having to ask. The restaurant is clean and serves alcohol, making it a family-friendly spot perfect for gatherings. The food was of good quality and I enjoyed everything I ordered. The prices were reasonable for the portion size. They offer free street parking after a certain time and also have paid parking in their lot. Additionally, they have private rooms available. I would definitely go back.

The food at the restaurant was decent, but the service was lacking. Two of the dishes we received were incorrect and we had to continuously flag down our server since they were preoccupied chatting with each other and not attentive to our table. Additionally, one dish was forgotten and served cold. While the restaurant has potential, our first experience was disappointing. Considering the price, the overall dining experience could have been improved.

The Gyutan Kushiyaki (grilled beef tongue skewers) were well-seasoned with a generous sprinkle of black pepper. The meat was moist, though slightly chewier than what is typically found at Zakkushi. The Parmesan Beef Roll included prawn tempura, beef carpaccio, truffle oil, and parmesan cheese. The thin, tender slices of beef paired beautifully with the truffle oil and cheese, creating a savory and delicious dish overall.

This restaurant has the ambiance of a high-end Japanese eatery, but also offers some more affordable options on their menu. They have lunch specials that feature regular menu items at discounted prices. I suggest trying these specials, but would advise against ordering the $6 negitoro rolls as the tuna has a watery consistency.

Newish Japanese restaurant operated by Chinese staffs and chefs. Good service and decent food. However a bit on the pricy side One can surely find similar or even better quality Japanese food at a better price. But for the ambience and the service, will probably try again with friends at special occasions.

The ambiance and service at this restaurant were excellent. However, I found the quality of the food to be lacking and the prices to be a bit high for what was offered. Overall, the service and atmosphere were top-notch, but the food did not quite meet expectations.

This is the best spicy tuna I have had in years! The portion of rice was very small, which is uncommon. I didn't have to pick off any rice. The spicy sauce on the tuna was perfect and not mixed with mayo on top. It was incredibly delicious!
