Picked this place because of good reviews and the child friendliness. Half hour drive from home. Sadly not so worth the drive as an adult. Good for the kids but that's about where it stopped.
The quinoa salad was basic and therefore very pricey. My order was prawns- I got mixed messages about the sizing of starter and main and Much confusion about whether I had the right size dish ensued- it went back to the kitchen. Final order was still quite small. To their credit- I got complimentary chips to pass the waiting time for the confusion.
My partners salad was ordered with chicken and initially didn't come with and also went back to the kitchen.
My cocktail was big but mostly crushed ice....
Not impressed!
We have eaten here a few times and the food is very average. The menu is overpriced and it's really only reasonable for the kids. I ordered a salad which hadn't been washed it hand sand & a bug in it. So much potential here which is a shame seems that they are pushing more quantity than quality. If you're going for the kids better off going to McDonalds!
Terrible! Have been recommended spur by a friend. Was really disappointed. No atmosphere, awful food and overpriced for what you get. Kids meal was soggy and undercooked, steak was chewy and chips anaemic. Children had no knives laid as apparently kids can't be trusted and you have to ask, but few staff around to ask. Service was average at best. Will not be coming again.
Food ok, but very over priced. Biggest issue for me was how noisy it was, I really couldn't stand the background music being so loud that it forced everyone to shout over it. To be honest a prolonged visit here would be my best guess at what purgatory would be like. I was glad to leave and I will not return.

Hugely disappointed with this restaurant. Have visited a few times and the food is consistently bad. If a restaurant has the word 'steak' in their name you would expect it would be at least good, it's not! Why is the soggy fried onion even on the plate. The Currambine store is much better.
Great and attentive customer service. Ordered the jalapeno poppers, veggie burger and a chocolate milkshake. Food was average. The burger needed mayonnaise or something. Chocolate milkshake was lovely. Very extensive menu & happy to see a few vegetarian options.

I didn't mind the food here. I think it is better than spurs in currambine. Steak was cooked good ribs were done well. Not bad at all.
