We go to Earls quite a bit but tonight 's service was a bit off. We had to flag down our server to order drinks/dinner. Fine, not in a rush. My husband ordered a beer, took a sip and noticed the chipped rim on his glass. Again, exchanged for a new one, no big deal. Got our meals, good food, no complaints. He ordered one more beer and I ordered a cheesecake to go. We paid the bill. Afterwards, we noticed we were charged for an extra beer when she had supposedly just exchanged the glass. When we got home to dig into our dessert, there was NO seasonal fruit on our cheesecake. Each individual act was no big deal, but all together in a matter of 1.5-2hrs span was a bit off putting. Staff was polite, greets you with a smile. We were a party of 6 adults and I baby. Our order was delivered in a timely manner and all meals were greatly enjoyed by all. As a side note, I had left my jacket behind, being out of town and couldn't remember what location we were at. I took a shot in the dark, taking a chance calling late that night, a gentleman answered was understanding and willing to do what he could, looked in lost and found, took details and my information. All in all they had my jacket at a different location and were all kind and willing to help. I did not once feel a bother, thank you. Keep it up Cheers from BC
We received excellent service from the moment we arrived till we received our cheque. There are 3 little things worth mentioning: The prices seemed a little high. (that's a personal opinion) Our coffee was lukewarm when served, and There were little fruit flies occasionally visiting our table. I am not critical of Earls, but honesty is the best policy for the manager's consideration. Thank you. Oh, we did receive a free dessert for our 29th anniversary!
Edit: My wife and I returned to Earls for a dinner after an invite from the GM. We were extremely pleased with both the service from the staff, and the communication from the management team. Even though the kitchen was quite busy, our server assistant were attentive and accommodating. We would like to thank Madi, Amber, Katlyn and Hovig for a pleasant dining experience. First i want to start off with Christine and Hannah were absolutely wonderful but the food was a different story my salad was so good however my husband had the steak frites and had to be brought back twice because it wasn't medium rare like he asked not sure if we'll be back
The waitress was very attentive and friendly. She knew the menu very well and was able to explain all of our questions about the food. The meal was excellent and the perfect temperature.
Food was great but currently a fruit fly problem here. Not fun spending the evening trying to keep flies out of my food and drink.
Wonderful table and server, the food was fantastic and quick to be delivered hot! A great evening all in all, thank you Earl's!
