My weekend started with a surprise date from my husband. Earls have been on my foodie bucket list for long. So, my husband decided to check this place off from my list.<br/ I would suggest to make a reservation either on call or thru apps like Open Table.<br/ They have four kinds of seating arrangement: Patio, Lounge and Dining and atrium.<br/ We kicked off our evening with their snacks:<br/ Chilli Chicken Wontons: Crispy wontons piled high on tender chicken is the perfect appetizer to start with.<br/ Followed by main course: <br/ Margherita Pizza: We decided to go with little light main course. Ordered this lite and yummy pizza topped with house made sauce, mozzarella and chiffonade basil.<...

Wait for a Friday night for dining room was 30 40 minutes, for a table for two it took exactly 40 minutes. So accuracy was there..<br/ <br/ Once seated though, we were served by Rachel; she was absolutely amazing. Though there was a packed dining room she was still taking the time to explain and suggest her favorites. Recommending a white wine after realizing that sangria was no longer on the menu which was the perfect wine for me! She was always there to refill waters and to clear plates. She made this meal delightful service wise. <br/ <br/ Food wise, When i come to a chain restaurant I'm not looking for perfect playing or out of my mind flavors just something that's cooked with better che...
The service was fabulous and the food amazing. The Avocado Toasts are the best I have ever tasted. I then had the chicken/brie/apple/fig sandwich with sweet potato fries and aioli sauce. To die for actually. My husband had the salmon with capers in the sauce and it was delightful. Dessert was the gingerbread with ice cream and salted caramel drizzle. Tyler paid special attention to the fact that this will a milestone celebration and we can't say enough good things about him. Soooo appreciative. Just a delightful evening and a lovely place to celebrate a milestone event.
One of the large restaurants that popped up in SEC ever since the popularity of Joeys took off over a decade ago. The only draw now for Earls is this happy hour they got going on now that includes tuna tartare and fish tacos to name a few. Both dishes weren't bad at all and the low price makes you want to order them again. Earls is a decent option if you've never been before, or if you can't get into rec room right across the parking lot. <br/ <br/ Sal says: Just try it (3.5/5) Book a table now
The South Common location is really good. Even though i work in downtown i would recommend people stay away from Earls Tin Palace as that 'flagship ' location isnt as good as it used to be. I would rate Tin Palace and the northside Earls as the two worst Earls in Edmonton and surrounding area in terms of service; the food is hit and miss at those locations. Earls South common, location at 170th and Calgary trail are exceptional in terms of thier service and food.
This Earls is a departure from the more traditional dining room and lounge set up of other Earls, the bar and restaurant are combined with no separation. I had the pleasure of trying their Bibimbap which was a seasonal dish. Though it wasn't quite up to the same level of taste as the ones I had in Korea, it was one of the most inspired dishes I've had in Edmonton
Awesome!. I dropped in for a bite to eat and a pint. The bartender was really nice and did a great job making sure everything was good. The food was very fast! and super good (Earls is always good). I'm here in Edmonton till Friday and I'm goong to go back!
Great food ! Zesty Thai chicken bowl and ceaser salad ! Tried the cauliflower buffalo platter which is a yummie yet fried delight , avoid the sangria as they are only filed of ice and not tasteful but service was prompt and good ! Book a table now
The food and service were great. Was a 10 to 15 minute wait for dining. However, lounge booth was available immsdiately, service appeared to be quick.
You gotta have the Nashville hot chicken sandwich next time you go.. if you haven’t already.
