I recently dined at this restaurant and my experience was a bit mixed. The food, while promising, didn't quite meet my expectations, earning a modest two-star rating. However, the service was decent, providing a three-star experience that was satisfactory but not exceptional. The atmosphere had a comfortable vibe, also meriting three stars.
If you do decide to visit, I recommend trying the Tandoori Chicken and the Tandoori Mixed Grill, as they seemed to be the standout dish...
Tasteless food , owner stated that the food is not spicy because their clients are whites and white people don 't like spicy food. He also stated that the restaurant is one of the best in wilmslow and Manchester. He 's deluded. When my husband complained the owner told him that he didn 't care about his opinion because his restaurant is full and he 's never had a complaint before, we sent all our disgusting dog food back and paid £115 for it. The owner and staff have probably never eaten out before and serve what resembles dog food to their white clients . Owner also rude and aggressive...we will never step foot in there again
A gathering of friends at Eastern revive. A very warm greeting. Extremely welcoming and friendly staff. Service was prompt. The ambience was perfect for a Saturday night. A busy restaurant with people enjoying their meals. Really loved the ambiance. The onion Bhaji starters were excellent and our meals delicious. Each curry had its own unique flavor. The mixed grill I personally had was very good. The chicken tikka was cooked to perfection it was so tender almost like a prawn. Great naan. Great waiters. Boys night out very enjoyable.
"The food was enjoyable, and the prices were reasonable. Personally, I would have preferred a bit more flavor and spiciness. However, some of my colleagues found dishes that weren't marked as spicy to be quite strong, so I suppose they have to be cautious with the heat level. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. I had a fantastic meal that was so impressive I forgot to take any pictures! The portion sizes were generous, and the lamb Karahi ghost was exceptional. The service was top-notch as well, earning a perfect score. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all as 5 out of 5!
