The Echterdinger Waldheim Stuben Schwabisch Kuche is one of my favorite all-time German restaurants. I have lived in this area of Germany for 7 years and have tried all kinds of restaurants, near and far, and I always rave about this place. The genuine German dishes are always served friendly, hot and very delicious. We have been several times and it's always good. Tonight we especially enjoyed sitting outside and we had our dog with us who was very welcomed and one of the servers brought him water. All the servers were very friendly and spoke 'enough' English. One is even a Washington Redskins fan!!! The schnitzel was delicious and the spätzle is homemade. There is a playground for those with children. I especially like that it is off the main road and in the woods.
