There was no option for plain steamed rice so we chose the yellow rice. It wss cold. The salad had a bad case of limpoma and the yellow spinach leaves with black spots may have been colourful but unappetizing. The rogan josh lamb was full of gristle and fat and the butter chicken had obviously been someone else's tandoori chicken previously which they wisely chose to eat. Maybe it had been painted rrd. Took my whole family for dinner and we were all disappointed. First came in there and found one person doing everything including serving at the bar, taking orders, cleaning tables and serving at the counter. Not impressed with the quantity of the food. Also taken aback that the rice was not included in the price of the meal. Waitress advised that the fish used is Basa which is the cheapest fish you can buy as it comes from China. In hindsight we should have left when we heard that. Definitely not recommended
Well, we fancied some Indian Tucker after watching LION at the movies and we found the place. Service was quick, unfriendly and distant. I think she wanted to be somewhere else on this Sunday nite.The curries tasted as if from a jar ( butter chicken) with chicken pieces scarce to find amongst the sloppy sauce.Anyway maybe we got them on a bad day.
Just loved this gem of a place. Definitely authentic and delicious. Beautifully presented and great tasting. We ordered a vegetarian dish and beef spinach curry with accompaniments and we were very happy. Delicious!
