Eddie's Sweet Shop

This restaurant is a fantastic place for authentic homemade ice cream! After a lovely dinner, my friends and I decided to stop by for some classic ice cream. The flavors are rich and creamy—I indulged in a two-scoop sundae with chocolate syrup, featuring coffee and mint chip flavors. It was absolutely delightful! We even got some to take home. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the ambiance has a charming, traditional vibe. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend it!

Unfortunately, I have to give Eddie's Ice Cream Shop a low score today. I tried the banana ice and was disappointed to find it had no banana flavor at all. I had been looking forward to trying this flavor. The shop was very crowded, which is great for them but not so great for us. The wait time was quite long. I plan to try a different flavor next time and hopefully I'll have better news to share.

Charming, old-fashioned ice cream parlor. I ordered the ice cream sundae (two scoops) for $10.00. Please note they only accept cash! The sundae comes with your choice of syrup, fresh homemade whipped cream, and a maraschino cherry. It's a classic treat. The service is friendly, though it can be a bit slow when they're busy, so be patient—your sundae is made fresh to order.

I highly recommend this restaurant! It's a significant part of Queens, NY history. The hot fudge sundae is absolutely delicious!
