Came for lunch because my daughter loves it. I have been here for lunch before, ordered the usual items I order everywhere and thought it was just ok. This time, we ordered a kamakaze roll which is huge. It is a dream combo of yam tempura, prawn tempura, cream cheese and cucumber. The tempura batter is excellent! I also ordered the seafood bento which is a perfect combination of mussels, squid, and scallops. My daughter ordered the spicy chicken bento which was her first ever bento box. My experience at this restaurant was fantastic. I ordered the Bento #3 with chicken teriyaki this time, which came with 5 pieces of tempura (2 prawns). The price was $11.95, much lower than the average local Japanese restaurant price of $15-16 for a similar dish with fewer tempura pieces. As a bonus, they offered self-serve Japanese tea at no extra charge. Despite the small seating area, the service was efficient and friendly. There was a constant flow of customers coming in for take-out orders. I would definitely give this restaurant a 10/10 rating.
.I've lived in Kamloops for two years and just ended up going here tonight and wish I had of found them sooner. I was really impressed with the menu and coziness of the restaurant. The prices are soooooo fair and the food was delicious and fresh. Staff were super friendly and made sure everything was great. Busy but comfy and no long waits or cold food. The prices are so good you want to come back and try everything which I will be lol.
I ordered a scallop poke bowl for takeout and my expectations were exceeded! It came with lots of chopped scallop and tobiko, crab, lettuce, corn, green onions, cucumbers, red and green onions, cabbage, seaweed salad and rice. Everything was fresh and delicious, and it only cost me $15 including tax and tip.

Had such a good experience here, the food was amazing and the owner family is so kind. Sushi was fresh and the tiger roll and the fried salmon skin was arguably the best I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to come back on the drive to Van!
I highly recommend this restaurant for its efficient online ordering, always friendly service, and great food! I love stopping by for a poke bowl on my way home from work when I don't feel like cooking.
have heard some good things so thought i would try it. Their sushi rolls weren't expensive but the quality and size was excellent! friendly staff and cozy decor. Going to become a regular place to eat:)
Small little place. Excellent for a quick bite if you're are on the go. Fast and friendly service. Food is tasty and made to order. I would definitely go here again.
