It is so refreshing to sit in and dine at such a nice quaint quality family owned restaurant where the food is excellent. This was my first time dining at Edgewater Seafood Restaurant in Annapolis on Mayo Road. Debbie was our server and she was above reproach with her customer service. She was the most charming waitress that we have had the pleasure of engaging with in quite some time. Debbie was very helpful with the menu suggestion as well as her friendliness. Another restaurant proposed by a friend. Unique restaurant that looks like a house on the outside, and really intimate on the inside. Very nice waitress, the only one here. Only a cook tonight recommended us to order as the restaurant was filled. He started with a Shirley temple. Ordered cream of crab soup and how you can see a lot of lump cancer, unfortunately not fresh. Hit it with the old bay and that helped. Order a boiled seafood plate with $8 charge for lump cancer. We went one night with many empty tables, but for some reason we sat right next to someone else. We ended the conversation and had a great time, but it was a strange seat decision. Our waitress asked if we were ready to order about 4 times in 10 minutes, but then we waited for a while for our food. I think the menu would have had more options. The food was fine. The blueberry martini was excellent.
We went in and waited for my nephew. They wouldn't sit down and say he couldn't sit at our table when he was there. There was no line, no waiting time and no customer service. I'm a crab. I understand that you may not want to sit when you wait for several, but only one? Not sure if the owners are aware, but many open tables, and we could have filled one
