My husband and I were visiting Charleston and heard rave reviews about the craft beer selection and charcuterie. It was good but overrated in my opinion. I was disappointed in the wine selection (by the glass) and my husband was so-so on the beer. We ordered the octopus, which was the highlight for us. The charcuterie platter (large with cheese) was nice and great quality. The highlight was their head cheese, which truly knocked our socks off. The rest of the platter was nice but just not as wonderful as we expected. We are happy to have tried it but not out top pick for Charleston .
once again the food surpassed at edmunds oast the expectations. this is our 3rd visit in 4 years, and most likely our top restaurant choice in foodie charleston remains. the service has normally been super, this time our server seemed a little short. the beer offer is great (my favorite astro parakat in westbrook ipa.) the roasted carrots were beautifully spiced, the otopus slightly carburized, filet perfectly prepared, and my wife is hot and sourbutt fascinating. make their reservations good in advance!
excellent mood. it was full of young profis and a demanding older amount. eating was great! note that no single table had salt or pfeffer on it. that is trusting in their food they had. I had the hanger steak and it was divine. the French pommes were a perfect starter. Apparently they have great happy hour specials in the bar, but we were on a table.
I absolutely love this place. The food is incredible and so is the beer. I have never had a bad experience and am always looking forward to my next visit. Pro tip, they sell EO gift cards at Costco for 25% off! Stock up to make your visit even sweeter.

Food is different but very good. Take your time ordering as you can end up eating too much if you don’t pace yourself. Very good food though.
Perfect experience. The staff were very polite, and not overwhelmingly helpful. It was nice to enjoy my date without a ton of interruptions
our reservation was originally for 4 and grew to 9. our server was excellent. eating was amazing. edmunds oast never disappointed!
