Three months ago, we had breakfast for the first time here; I gave the restaurant five "bubbles" because everything was excellent. But when we had breakfast here a second time, we could not believe how poor the experience was.We had breakfast on the Sunday of a long weekend; our poor server looked exhausted and frazzled. She confided that many employees had failed to show up for work and the restaurant was operating with half of the usual number of servers. She tried her best and we tipped her well, but service was not good. (For example, we had our meals for a good five minutes before she brought us cutlery). The meals themselves were sad. My husband's chicken and waffle (yes, waffle in the...

I absolutely love this place. My wife and I visit as often as possible. It's well worth the 25 minute drive!Being English, I love the concept of "American Diners" with hearty food and good coffee. I have never had an issue with the food here (and my wife can be quite picky sometimes!)I usually go for the same thing- weston omelette with bacon and coffee. My wife loves it here because they have a non-meat option with the eggs, rather than just having no meat. They give you the option to have grilled veggies with your meal. There is a woman who works there, I really need to get her name. Small, skinny lady with blonde hair and cool tattoos. Anyway, if you get her serving you she is an absolute...

I went here with my wife and daughter. We ordered breakfast and the waitress asked what toast giving three options. White, brown and rye.The food came and was good, the service was average. Now my complaint is not the food but the bunch of ignorant people working here. The bill came and there was a 50 cent charge for the rye toast. When I paid I told the waitress that she should have mentioned they charge extra for the rye toast when I ordered. She offered to take it off my bill but I said it was ok just that she should really tell people when she gives the options for toast that there is an upcharge for rye. Personally, I don't think it is fair that they do that and it is also not written on...

I love going out for breakfast. And this place has been good on every visit. I don't get how anyone can complain about the food or service. The people serving were fast and efficient... They have to be, its slammed at 9 30 on a Friday morning. Friendly with a laugh and a smile. A little extra time is taken with you... And again... They are busy now. You are greeted when you walk in. Lots of regulars here. Great staff... They work well together. Eggs and bacon are what you expect... Well executed. Homefries are better than average. Well seasoned. Some brown crisp bits. Pancakes are pretty average. Coffee is better than Tim Hortons. They even did a decent job with those nasty breakfast sausage... Book a table now

Admittedly, breakfast is pretty straight-forward and difficult to mess up, although I have seen it done. But this was the best breakfast I have had in a long, long time. Excellent coffee and I was asked many times if I wanted a top up. My chicken soup was delicious and came in a huge bowl; had I know how much soup I would get I would have ordered a lighter main. My wester omelette was substantial and tasty, the potatoes were great and more than I could eat (my mother said the potatoes were the best she has had) and all four of us really enjoyed our meals. Service was very attentive and pleasant and the prices were incredibly reasonable for the size of the portions. Our new go-to breakfast pl...

Very good food and friends and friendly service. A bit warm inside and a little noisy but to be expected Ina place with an open kitchen. Hurricane skillet was great but too much for 1 person. If we ever come back to this area we will certainly come back. Chicken panini was breaded but edible.

Popped in for a late breakfast on Sat,was busy but we only stood for a minute or two before we had our seat. Everyone was working hard to get eals to guests and I counted 24 seconds from the guest leaving to table being prepped for next guest
