This place has a typical Austrian ambience with many wooden furniture. I thought the atmosphere was pleasant. The service was friendly and very ok to treat so many people. We were a group of 15 people. The typical Austrian food was beautiful. I had the beef in onion sauce. I thought the sauce was something to sakltry. My friend had the fish and that was great. The burgers were not the best. But then this is not a typical restaurant for this kind of food. They probably try to care for English-speaking tourists. And the pizza was good. Interesting drinks such as redcurrant, raspberry soda and elders. Very delicious!
In Murau the restaurants are not because to eat delicious but not to be hungry only. Thanplace is one of them. You can eat and drink but that's it. Thernis no any special or really good something. If time to eat you will do or so. The staff not smiling but becouse they serve that food I'm not surprised. Otherwise clear and ok, but For me a little bit more expected in a restaurant.
On the way out of town, decided to stop for a bite. Had good reviews. My Risotto was OK, but not great. My wife enjoyed her salad. When paying, the waiter was completely unfriendly, did not ask us how it was and complained after we had asked to pay with credit card.
The bedroom was badly decorated, in the morning for the breakfast selection was so bad I had only one semmel, Cona Coffee unrinkable. Everything was dirty? I'm sorry.
