We decided to go to Koblenz by train as a day trip from Ruedesheim. We had a good walk around and saw where the Rhine and Moselle rivers meet. There was a beer festival going on in the park along the Rhine. There were beers from many countries, but we didn't see a British beer. We stopped at the Brustolon Cafe for a snack. One of us had a Toast Hawaii, the other had a Pancake with Bananas and honey (scrumptious), accompanied by a Fanta, and a wine. After that we had Apple Strudel with cream and ice cream, again scrumptious, and a coffee. This is another place we would revisit if we went back to Koblenz!

While the waiter in question was getting orders from a medium sized group, we had been waiting for 10 minutes already and chose our opportunity to make the "we'd like to pay" signal so as not to intrude. You never just pay for food and drink, it's also about the overall experience. If you don't mind being insulted, this could be a good place to go. We won't be back.

the ice cafe is very beautiful. I can only recommend it. I found the opportunity to eat vegan and lactose free. everything tastes good. great choise of ice cream. easy to reach, it is in the old city center. that's worth it.
I ordered a vanilla and hazelnut ice cream and this was the best vegan ice cream that I evere ate. The ice cream had a creamy texture and was very tasty. This place is a must do in Koblenz!
