The Cortina is probably one of the oldest ice cream cafés in Cologne. Right on the ring, at Zülpicherplatz, probably the largest point in Cologne nightlife, the café has its residence. The prefabricated outdoor terrace is filled in summer to the last place and nowhere can you get better ice than here. One sits with a view of the plants - by the way a special feature in Cologne with background, - upstream taxi room as in the log, sees left to the Herz-Jesu church and just the ring where the traffic pushes two ways.
