Unfortunately, the former owner has to stop for age and health reasons 2 years ago. The new owner is unfortunately very moody and you often have the feeling that he does not like his work very much. We wanted to eat ice with our sports group before the summer break there with 14 people, but were rejected as he already had another group this evening. When I came by around 8:00, the ice cream cafe was empty. That wouldn't have happened to the predecessor. I realize that he has entered very large footsteps during the takeover; the predecessor was approx. 40 years in ox and very popular. We have come here since we live in ox and are always very satisfied! Very authentic and price performance is right! Mostly, we sit out at the meanwhile much more tables, because it's just great if not to sit on a street but in a pedestrian zone. Take a ride or send the kids by themselves is also practical. Very family-run operation, which serves its customers cordially. Cleanliness and quality are great and this makes the stay more pleasant. And now to the ice: Rhabarber with strawberry sauce, snow, white chocolate all standard varieties are a dream and the specials of the boss always succeeded. The ice is not so powerful and never too sweet for me perfect, so here 5 stars!
There is a great selection of different types of ice. The ice cream café is always super visited and a real secret tip for all ice lovers. The ice cream is first-class and is celebrated by us every year after the winter season.
