Recommended by a local fisherman, who we spent half day fishing together, said this little simple looking restaurant had amazing seafood while keeping 'local ' prices. He was not wrong. Friendly and well coming Mario helped us choose the dishes both nights. Yes, we returned twice, since there was no way we will find a better seafood restaurant. The texture of the octopus as you bite, was so soft, succulant and tasty, never imagined they could be this good. Every dish we ordered were simple, yet full of flavour fresh seafood cooked to perfection! None of the fusion techniques, just simplicity at its best. One of the best paella ever, while the La Santa prawns were just drop dead delicious ser...
Went here for a lunch today I must say it was worth the wait. It is a small, a bit hidden place, not very touristy, but that gives it it's charm. There was still quite a queue when we arrived, so we were put on list to wait for a table. The people working there were nice and they speak English. The food was beyond delicious (we had paella and prawns with octopus). Really amazing! Too bad we won't stay here longer so we could visit again.
Everytime we visit Club La Santa, we always make a visit to this place. IT NEVER DISAPPOINTS. We ordered 11 different tapas dishes and we honestly could not fault any of them...and we would consider ourselves real foodies. The standouts to us were the garlic prawns, battered fish, battered squid, meat croquettes, the meat stew and of course the aoilis never disappoint. Full of locals and in terms of value for money you can't beat it.
if you are looking for a real food, abundant and with fresh fish is the right place, it does not have a view of the sea, but you will not miss it. recommend tapas and half portions because they are really abundant. Fried squid the tenderest I've ever eaten. delicious desserts also. so good that we also asked paella and fish salad for the evening. Popular prices
We popped in for lunch on a Friday and had thankfully booked as there was a queue. We had grilled prawns, paella and squid in bread crumbs. The paella was the star but all were excellent. Service very good as well. Highly recommend. We left our teenage veggie daughter at home but the waiter said he would create some veggie dishes if we requested
very simple and unpretentious restaurant. Although it was mid-January and in the week we could barely find place at the counter, the menu is full of local dishes. we tried a paella (really super abundant,) fried anchovies and on advice of the staff grilled the saint: It was the best dish. all accompanied by beers. very kind staff. expenditure
Really good food. We loved the wrinkly potatoes with the mojo sauce, the prawns with garlic, the croquettes, the salad and the wine were all absolutely delicious.
