The owner manager is a disgrace, he is only staff member to take orders, waiting staff look terrified. At end of meal I said to him meals were really disappointing, he became aggressive and challenging. I told him I did not want to leave...an anonymous review, but did tell him it would be bad. He started abusing me in Spanish, a complete idiot. Most fish was sold out, chicken sold out. French fries were soggy and soft, and had clearly been cooked earlier. Kids meatballs were pink in the middle, shocking. Lamb chops were awful Portion sizes were meagre. In a city where we were blown away by the quality of the Pinxto's and service, this venue should be avoided.

the restaurant the hamlet (san sebastián) is a small family dining room that offers traditional Basque food. Among the varied culinary offers are dishes such as ox entrecot, roasted fish and seafood or cooked tksangurro and homemade desserts. the property opens every day of the week and has a pleasant atmosphere for guests.

Menu del dia for 20 euros. Not the cheapest around, but pretty good for the area. I imagine the rents are quite high around here. Food was tasty enough, Nothing spectacular, but quite OK. This is a reasonable alternative to fighting your way into a...pinchos bar, but it isn't as interesting.

My husband and I had a nice meal here last week. Clams with green sauce and then the paella with a great bottle of wine. Service was good and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
