The manager or owner really needs to take a customer service training course! Instead of simply saying no to a customer, they should always be willing to accommodate requests. For instance, when I asked if French fries could be added to a burrito, the manager told the waitress outright that it wasn't possible. As a result, we had to order a side of fries separately and add them ourselves. A better approach would have been to inform us that there would be an additional charge for this customization and then fulfill the request. I ordered three puffy tacos, which are clearly listed on their online menu. When I went to pick them up, they hadn't been made. Instead, I received two crispy tacos that looked like something from Taco Bell. When I called to inquire, I was informed that puffy tacos were unavailable. To make matters worse, the manager even tried to insist that they weren't on the menu at all. Overall, it was a frustrating experience marked by incompetence at every level.
We grew up enjoying El Chico's, but we hadn't had it in years because it closed down in our hometown. We decided to stop by for old times' sake, and it was just as we remembered! We absolutely loved the enchilada plates, and of course, the chips and salsa were fantastic. They even offer salsa and chips for takeout! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our visit even better.

This place feels like a second home. The food is amazing, the drinks are excellent, and the atmosphere is always enjoyable. It's my favorite spot for a nice lunch in the afternoon or a relaxing dinner after work. I particularly love the Margaritas—they're truly delightful! I would definitely rate it a 5-star experience!
We had a birthday party with around 20 guests, and I have to say, our server was fantastic. She managed to take all our orders simultaneously, and everything was correct. Not to mention, no one's drinks or chips and salsa ever ran out. She handled everything with a smile and truly focused on customer service.
