The main reason I chose to eat in this restaurant was, there was neither a restaurant nor a bar in Hotel Will which, stands about metres across from this Spanish restaurant. The waiter was extremely friendly and he served quickly, though I did have...to ask for my bill twice, and wait minutes, before I was finally given it to pay! The beer I drank was lovely, and considering the evening was quite warm, the liquid “went down a treat”! The food I ordered was very tasty. Tune fish and a large, typical Mediterranean salad. Four of us sat outside. The ambience right on the thoroughfare in Altwarmbüchen is not that great. In addition, at times you will be bombarded by loud music from the adjacent fitness center. That might not please everyone. The service was attentive when we arrived, the food order was taken quickly and the food was delivered in a timely manner. Afterwards, however, they neglected to ask again about any further drink or food requests. With an outside temperature of 28 degrees, there was definitely a need. The quality of the food was otherwise good. The restaurant is recommended.
Auf der (spontanen) Suche eines Dienstagabends sind wir im El Cortijo "gelandet". Eine sehr, sehr gute Entscheidung! Es war voll aber wir haben noch einen schönen Platz im Außenbereich bekommen. Den gesamten Aufenthalt wurden wir extrem zuvorkommend bedient. Das Essen war wirklich der Hammer! Wir haben uns eine Auswahl an Tappas und den gegrillten Fischteller geteilt. Noch nie haben wir so gut spanisch gegessen. Wirklich zu empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder!!
Wer gute Tapas essen will, kann ich die Reise nach Spanien sparen. Eine Fahrt nach Altwarmbüchen reicht. Die Tapas waren hier schon immer hervorragend. Jetzt hat man das Bestellen noch einfacher gemacht: Auf den Tischen liegt eine Liste zum Ankreuzen. Aioli muss man nicht extra bestellen. Eine kleine Schale gibt es mit dem Brot vom Haus und bei einigen Tapas ist etwas Aioli dabei. Eine Reservierung ist empfehlenswert.

Authentische Atmosphäre, superleckeres Essen, eine große Getränkeauswahl und nettes, wenn auch etwas hemdsärmeliges Personal machen das El Cortijo einen Besuch wert. Sicherlich ist es nicht billig, aber auf jeden Fall den Preis wert. Eine schöne Auszeit in Spanien, mitten in Isernhagen. Reservierungen empfohlen, wenn man Paella essen will (sehr empfehlenswert) sollte man diese vorbestelle
Food is very nice, excellent service. Visited the restaurant couple of months ago. The food was fresh and tasty. I had the fish platter and my wife the pork fillet medallions. Fresh and properly cooked fish and meat. A good experience. Will visit again in...the very near future
Just back from an amazing feast at El Cortijo. We eat tapas regularly in Spain but I have to say this is the best Tapas outside of Spain and better than many Spanish Tapas bars. Great meal guys! Well done and thank you.
