El Cruce is a good quality Spanish restaurant in a small village, getting probably few non Spanish visitors, which is a shame as good food is here to be had. We are working our way along the Almoradi `route gastronomica' and our second restaurant was El Cruce. The venue looks very attractive from outside, in a modern traditional Spanish way. Inside lots of pictures on the walls, flowers and crisp white table cloths. We were seated the smallest of 3 rooms, ours with 4 tables, the second about 6 and the 3rd for large gatherings. We were given English translations of the menu and chose, house salad, Iberian Ham and Caramelized ox-tail. They were all quite tasty. For mains we had, rack of lamb, solomilo and duck breast. We have eaten here a few times, the food is very very good quality, but certainly not cheap by Spanish standards. Don't expect the restaurant to be busy before 10pm as it is geared for the Spanish and only opens for dinner at 8pm. If you book a table for 8pm expect to be sitting on your own in the dining room. I would recommend it that special occasion where the price is not an issue and I am sure you will have a fantastic evening as the food can not be faulted in any way.
Desde la purisima tenia antojo de comer caldo con pelota y finalmente fuimos a comer con unos amigos al cruce. Me ha encantado todo……..la comida, el trato y la selección de vinos. Repetimos seguro!

Todo muy rico, comimos lubina y cocido, de aperitivo alcachofas rebozadas y el pan prohibido ir había oída tanto hablar. Todo muy bueno. Postres caseros. Servicio amable y rápido. Lo recomiendo.
Buen sitio, buena comida, trato muy agradable y precio acorde al producto. Hoy en día si el producto es bueno el precio también. Vale la pena y comer bien también de vez en cuando.
