Beautifully designed, with flavours of its' namesake in madrid . Only Spanish cuisine, but even some of their dishes are alike british ones inc.liver/ kidneys/ etc. Around 10 choices every course, and menu del dia weekdays cost 10 euros, for excellent house red from Villena, salad, 1st course, 2nd and dessert, coffee, bread! Delicious! They even serve mixed veg. if you dont want chips! Saturdays/fiesta days is 12 euros inc. Closed on Sundays sorry .
My husband and I went with daughter and son-in-law, who were on holiday, as they enjoyed their meal there a couple of years ago. I enjoyed the melon with serrano ham for my starter, and waited and waited for my main course of pinchos (kebabs). Unfortunately two of the party actually finished their meals before mine arrived, which showed that the kitchen hadn't bothered to co-ordinate the table order, which somewhat spoiled the occasion.
After seeing reviews of this restaurant we have visited it twice first time was a disaster attitude of staff very poor service none of use served at the same time.The second visit was more of a farce than a disaster some of us were nearly finished the main course before others got served then some of the food had to be returned as it was uneatable
