The food here is genuinely authentic! El Favorito has become our go-to place for Mexican cuisine. We first tried it on a Sunday and were delighted to find menudo served with handmade tortillas. I suspect the handmade tortillas are a weekend special since they weren't available during the week. On our second visit, we ordered takeout, and everything was still hot and flavorful when we enjoyed it at home. For our third visit, I brought my parents along; they ordered the molcajete and were thrilled to savor delicious food without having to cook. A standout feature is the self-serve nacho and salsa bar, where you can fill your bowls as much as you want—definitely a five-star highlight! Additionally, they have a special counter for freshly made tortillas that you can take home. The atmosphere is very family-oriented, making this restaurant a must-visit if you’re in the area!
Excellent Mexican food. In fact, believe it or not, they have a chile relleno burrito. These are a couple of my favorite foods in the world combined into one. All their food is good.
