We’ve been coming to El Garrofer every year when my family visits Vinarós and it used to be lovely. Recent years show that the quality of the food has been dropping along with the staffs attitude. Being English, we require a little more patience when ordering. We used to eat there most nights during our holiday, this year it has been once. Wife ordered salad and it had caterpillars in it. My chicken was bone and grease. We’ll give it a go next year and we’ll see.
I put 4 stars in my experience for the lunch I've made, cheap snacks and very well made to the brazie. It is the only restaurant in the area with a good living room and a very good shaded terrace, the prices of the menu are very economical now the quality that I can no longer appreciate it since I only made the lunch that is what I have valued, which is the wait of when you ask something is very long. has parquing for customers.
any bar full of construction workers, local farmers or maintenance of roads is already a clue that the place promises. We've stopped for a couple of days for lunch and the snacks are good. the place is well maintained with shade of mulberry so it is very nice to stop on your terrace. the waitress, all women with experience and very good treatment. I totally recommend it for lunch and lunch with your barbecue.
